Privacy Policy
HandGlyph (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a teaching and drawing app for iPhone, iPad, and Android, published by Kolestack. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the HandGlyph mobile app and this website.
What HandGlyph does
HandGlyph is a digital whiteboard for teaching and presenting. You can draw, use a hand overlay, record sessions, export content, and optionally stream live to services you configure (such as Twitch).
Information we collect
HandGlyph does not require an account to use. We do not operate a cloud backup or sync service at this time.
Stored on your device
- Canvas projects, drawings, and annotations you create
- Recorded videos and exported files you choose to save
- App settings (tools, paper, hand overlay calibration, and similar preferences)
This content stays on your device unless you export or share it yourself.
Information you may send to us
If you email us for support, we receive whatever you include in that message (for example, your email address and message text).
Permissions the app may request

We use these permissions only for the features above.
Live streaming
If you enable live streaming, your video and audio are sent to the streaming service you configure (for example Twitch). That service’s own privacy policy and terms apply. We do not control third-party platforms.
Third-party services
When you stream or share content, you use third-party platforms under their policies. This website is hosted on Cloudflare; basic technical logs (such as IP address) may be processed by our host as part of serving the site.
Children
HandGlyph is designed for teaching and may be used in classrooms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app itself. If you believe a child has contacted us inappropriately by email, please reach out so we can address it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information we handle. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Your choices
- You can delete projects and recordings from your device at any time.
- You can deny permissions in system settings; some features may not work without them.
- You may contact us with privacy questions or requests related to support correspondence.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of HandGlyph after changes means you accept the revised policy.
